From the President:

October 30, 2005.

Dear Members and Friends,

Happy Halloween! Is it possible that this year is almost at an end? When you're a child, time seems to stand still until one day when it's speeding by and you suddenly realize that you're no longer a kid. I feel this way every fall when I realize that another year has flown by and I reflect all that has happened in that year. The events of any year are important and this one is no different. So, as we proceed to the end of this year, take a moment to think about all that has happened this year and also about all that is about to happen in the coming year. And, with that in mind, your Board of Directors is trying to bring to you different and interesting programs each month. If you were at our last meeting, you laughed along with all of us at our guest speaker, James J. Fayed III. Well done, Shirley, for bringing this interesting guest to speak to us. We are now a bit wiser in the ways of the surplus lines markets, and the ways of semi-pro football!

We are all looking forward to our November meeting with interest. Please see the flyer in this bulletin for further details on this meeting.

Remember our annual Holiday Party/Meeting will be in December at Kriss Halperin's house. Thank you, Kriss, once again, for once again opening your door to us. Now is the time to start looking around for auction gifts for this meeting.

I am looking forward to seeing all of you at the November meeting. Until then, I am....

Yours in fellowship,
Ruth Uridel, CPIW.
