Dear Members and Friends,

I hope everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving and is looking forward to an equally wonderful holiday season. On December 14th, we will have our annual Holiday Party and Gift Auction. Are you ready? We have received the Gift Wish from Glenwood Care Center from the residents..... It is a DVD/VCR combo for their TV's. They would like 3, but would be thrilled with any number we could provide. So, let's not only have a great time at our party, but let's fulfill their Christmas wish!

Thank you to Kriss Halperin and Mary Lou Scott, who, along with myself, represented IWVC at the meeting with State Director Michelle Epstein on Saturday, November 6th. We had a very open meeting with a free flowing exchange of ideas that was very interesting. Two other Associations attended this meeting, IWLA and IPSB. Thank you to both of those Associations for their interest.

As we approach 2005, we, your Board of Directors, are looking to you, our members, for ideas for meetings you would like to see us present. Please call a Board member with your ideas soon.

I look forward to seeing all of you at Kriss's house on December 14th.

Getting away from their high-stress jobs, a couple spends relaxing weekends in their motor home. When they found their peace and quiet disturbed by well-meaning, but unwelcome, visits from other campers, they devised a plan to assure themselves some privacy. Now, when they set up camp, they place this sign on the door of their RV: "Insurance agent. Ask about our term-life packages."
